Open on the part people recognize
Start your clip on the chorus or the main motif rather than a slow introduction. When the melody is the hook, turn the title intro off so the first notes land right away.

Make both hands easy to tell apart

Do I need a MIDI keyboard or a digital piano?
No. Ivory works from audio. Record an acoustic or digital piano with your iPhone, or import a recording, and Ivory transcribes the notes for you. Make sure you have the rights to any music you publish.
Does the sheet music really follow my playing?
Yes. Ivory aligns your performance with the engraved score, so the playhead stays on the right note even when you slow down or push ahead. Optional guide lines draw from each note to the next.
Is Ivory free?
Ivory is free to download. Videos exported without a subscription carry a small translucent Ivory watermark, and subscribers can turn it off.
What kind of recordings work best?
Solo piano gives the cleanest result. A clear recording without vocals or other instruments helps Ivory detect every note accurately.
